At the occasion of the festivity Bera Oinez which will take place this sunday in Bera, Udalbiltza affirmed that Nafarroa Oinez is more than a festivity for the euskera, that constitutes a reflection of the progresses in the construction of an own educative system and the expression of the will to follow this line.

Thanks to the work realized during long years, the progress in an own educative system’s construction is notable, but steps still stay to do as to guarantee that the school euskaldunises all the basque youth, to apply a basque curriculum and to start the basque university. We're working in this sense, and Udalbiltza will firmly work, in collaboration with the basque citizens and the popular actors to advance on this way.

Udalbiltza makes new steps for the defense of the all basque citizenship’s rights and works day after day to develop the right of all the citizenship to the education and the right that this one be given in euskera. Besides, we already made the steps in the elaboration and in the definition of the basque curriculum, and the steps to create a basque curriculum in collaboration with Sortzen-Ikasbatuaz and the Confederation of Ikastolas are already a reality, as obtaining the citizenship’s contribution, which will be published soon.

The festivities of the ikastolas are a reflection of all that, and the next sunday we’ll have an incomparable occasion to promote and to celebrate in an atmosphere of fest the work which is brought to a successful conclusion, day after day, in the ikastolas. In that, to congratulate and to support the work made by the ikastola from Bera, we notify that an Udalbiltza’s representation managed by Peio Gascón, town councillor from Irun and member of Udalbiltza, will go to Bera.
